The south-side roof of the Biotechnology and Interdisciplinary Studies Building will be replaced over the next five weeks as part of a planned maintenance project.
A stair tower and overhead protective cover have been installed at the southeast entrance. The tower and entryway protection are expected to be fully in place by July 14, 2026, with roofing work scheduled to begin on July 17, 2026. The project is anticipated to be completed, and all construction-related equipment removed, by August 24, 2026.
During this time, there may be minor adjustments to pedestrian traffic patterns in the area. Building entrances will remain open and accessible throughout the project.
We ask members of the campus community to use caution when traveling through the area and to be mindful of ongoing construction activities.
