Parking Access to the gated campus and parking is available using a transponder and/or a Rensselaer ID that has been programmed to open specific parking lots and campus gates. Parking Permits Student parking permits for the Fall '24/Spring '25 semesters will be available for sale beginning August 1st. Students must have a valid permit before parking on campus. Visitor Parking Temporary transponders are available for contractors and vendors at the Parking Office during regular hours of operation. Daily visitor permits can be purchased online at rpi.aimsparking.com. Rensselaer Shuttle Free Rensselaer shuttle service is available to all with a valid Rensselaer ID. CDTA Bus Service Students, faculty, and staff with valid Rensselaer ID cards are welcome to use all CDTA bus routes, including STAR and NX services at no charge. Just swipe your ID through the farebox!
