All faculty, staff, students, affiliates, vendors, and visitors are responsible for all tickets incurred by them, vehicles under their control, or their visitors.
Permit and lot regulations are in effect year-round, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Service, handicap, public safety, and restricted parking areas are enforced 24 hours a day.
Fines
- No active permit: First offense -$50.00-$150 progressive 5th Violation = Tow
- Non parking spot: $31
- EV overstay - $50
- Unauthorized lot entry (entering through an exit gate or tampering with gate mechanism) $400
- Blocking fire lane and fire hydrants: $100
- Blocking curb ramp: $31
- Blocking loading dock: $31
- Blocking other vehicles: $31
- Service vehicle parking only: $31
- Faculty and Staff parking only: $50
- Hindering Snow Removal: $41
- Accessible permit required: $250
- Unauthorized use of Permit: $151
- Impeding traffic flow: $100
Appealing a Ticket
Community Member Appeals
Parking tickets may be appealed using the information found on the back of the parking ticket. All appeals must be addressed to rpi.aimsparking.com. A decision will be made promptly and provided to the registered email address.

Towing
Any vehicle incurring 5 or more violations, vehicles with delinquent tickets valued at $1000.00 or more may be towed at the expense of the owner. All abandoned vehicles will be towed. All vehicles without a valid US or Canadian providence registration will be towed.
