Please be advised that a scheduled power shutdown will take place at the Houston Field House beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Friday, July 17, 2026.

During the shutdown, the building will transfer to limited backup generator power while electrical work is performed. Backup power will remain in place for the remainder of the day until the work has been completed and normal electrical service is restored.

The south-side roof of the Biotechnology and Interdisciplinary Studies Building will be replaced over the next five weeks as part of a planned maintenance project.

Please be advised that beginning Saturday, June 20, 2026, the Commons Dining Hall weekend hours of operation will change for the remainder of the Summer 2026 semester.

New Weekend Hours:
11:00 AM – 5:30 PM
(Saturdays and Sundays)

The RPI Student Mail Center will begin to accept packages and mail for the fall semester after August 1, 2026.

Parcels should only be shipped to the Student Mail Center for students who are living on "on-campus" Housing.

Available Meal Plan Options

For Summer 2026, only Block Plans will be offered. These plans are available to students living on or off campus during the summer semester.

Please note that Panera will have a change in hours of operations beginning 5/26/2026. To better serve our community this summer, Panera will now be open from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday - Friday. Thank you for your understanding and continued support of Rensselaer Dining.

Please note that on 5/11 the road near EMPAC will be closed due to food trucks 

Summer 26' parking permits are now available. Please visit rpi.aimsparking.com to purchase. Any questions please reach out to parking and transportation

Effective Monday, May 4, Sherry Road lot will transition to pay per hour parking only. Please ensure your parking session is active for the duration of your stay, as vehicles without valid payment may be subject to enforcement. For additional information, please contact Parking and Transportation Services.
