Beginning the morning of Monday, September 14, 2026, the upper deck walkway between the Darrin Communications Center (DCC) and Jonsson Engineering Center (JEC) will be temporarily closed to allow construction work to proceed on long-lead materials that have recently arrived on site.
Pedestrian detour routes will be reinstated during the closure and are expected to remain in place for approximately three weeks. Please refer to the posted walkway maps for designated alternate routes.
The project team will work to reopen a portion of the walkway in its current configuration as soon as it is safe and practical to do so.
For the safety of the campus community, please do not enter the construction area and follow all posted signage and designated pedestrian routes.
