On Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to approximately 12:00 p.m., RPI Physical Plant and Campus Planning & Facilities Design will have a crane positioned on the north side of the Pittsburgh Building to support the removal and installation of AHU (Air Handling Unit) cold water coils.
During this work, the roadway from 8th Street to the Walker Laboratory Building will be closed. Walkways from Amos Eaton to the Pittsburgh Building, as well as walkways directly in front of the Pittsburgh Building, will also be closed.
Barricades and cones will be placed to restrict access, and personnel will be on site to direct pedestrians safely around the work area. Please use alternate routes and exercise caution in the area.
