On Wednesday morning, August 19, access to the Houston Field House and C-Lot parking near Harkness Field will be restricted due to construction activities.
Regular traffic access and parking are expected to resume by 1:00 p.m.

You may start to notice some new signs and updates to signage around campus! We’re making a few changes to help create a more welcoming, clear, and easy-to-navigate environment for everyone in our community.
As the updates roll out, you may see new signs popping up or some familiar ones being replaced. We’re excited for you to see the changes and appreciate your patience as we work to give our campus a fresh new look!
New signage so far:
The RPI Student Mail Center will begin to accept packages and mail for the fall semester.
Parcels should only be shipped to the Student Mail Center for students who are living in "on-campus" Housing.

Addressing letters and packages:
The south-side roof of the Biotechnology and Interdisciplinary Studies Building is currently being replaced. During the demolition phase, occupants and pedestrians in the area may hear increased noise as the existing roof membrane is removed and new roofing materials are installed. The project is expected to be completed by the end of August 2026.

Effective Monday, May 4, Sherry Road lot will transition to pay per hour parking only. Please ensure your parking session is active for the duration of your stay, as vehicles without valid payment may be subject to enforcement. For additional information, please contact Parking and Transportation Services.
Troy has begun its seasonal street cleaning program. 🚧🧹
During this time, the city will clean streets on a rotating schedule to remove debris, sand, and litter left from winter conditions. Residents and visitors are encouraged to carefully follow posted parking signs on each street.
