Announcements

Shape the future of RPI’s campus by completing our campus-wide master planning survey.

We want to hear directly from you about how you use RPI’s spaces today and what you’d like to see in the future. Your perspective will help us create a campus that better supports learning, research, and the overall student experience.

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Kevin Surman as Director of Physical Plant.

Beginning Monday, September 22, 2025, RPI Facilities Management will begin a project to replace leaking steam pipes along the north sidewalk in front of E Dorm and across the roadway at the Sage Avenue campus entrance.

The project has come across an unexpected issue and will require adding additional shoring to be installed while structural repairs are being addressed on the underside of the bridge. This will result in the closure of the underpass under the bridge until 8/29/25. We are doing this now so that the underpass can be restrictively (closed during working hours, open nights weekends) and reopened before the Sage Ave. entrance closure on 9/8/25.
